How to read a recall

Read the summary, consequence and remedy together. Confirm the affected vehicle by VIN before arranging a repair.

What is a campaign number?

A campaign number identifies a recall. One campaign can cover several model years, so the unique total can be smaller than the sum of the yearly counts.

What does “Remedy not yet available” mean?

The manufacturer may still be preparing the repair or parts. Ask an authorized dealer about timing and follow the instructions in the notice.
