This tool runs in your browser and does not upload or save your inputs or results. The page itself uses Google Analytics and shows ads.

Keep your device awake. The alarm needs this tab to stay open and your device to stay awake. Screen lock or a suspended background tab can stop it from ringing. Test the sound first, and use a device alarm as a backup for anything important.

    How to use

    1. Choose a time, an optional label, and a sound. Select "Test sound" and check the volume.
    2. Select "Add alarm". You can set several alarms; the list shows their times and countdowns.
    3. When an alarm rings, select "Stop" to turn it off and remove it, or "Snooze 5 min" to have it ring again in five minutes.
    4. "Delete" cancels an alarm before it rings.

    When the alarm will ring

The alarm is scheduled for the next occurrence of your chosen time. For example, if it is 3:00 PM and you set an alarm for 2:00 PM, it will ring tomorrow. Snooze schedules a new alarm five minutes from the moment you select it.

    Keep a backup alarm

The page must stay open and your device must stay awake. Closing or reloading the page clears the alarms. A sleeping computer cannot run the page, and a locked phone or suspended background tab may not ring. Browsers also slow down tabs in the background, which can delay an alarm.

Your browser may not play sound until you have clicked or tapped something on the page. Check your volume and mute settings. Use a device alarm for important reminders.

    Time and sound

The tool compares your device's clock with each alarm time. If the page was paused when an alarm was due, the alarm rings once the page is active again. The three sounds are synthesized in your browser with the Web Audio API; no audio files are downloaded.

    Frequently asked questions

    Why didn't my alarm ring?

Closing or reloading the page clears your alarms. A sleeping device cannot ring. Screen lock or a suspended tab can also prevent sound. Keep the page open and test the sound and volume first.

Can I rely on it to wake me up?

Not on its own. Browser alarms can be delayed or stopped when a device sleeps or a tab is suspended. For an important wake-up or departure time, also set an alarm on your phone or another device.

    How does snooze work?

"Snooze 5 min" stops all currently ringing alarms and schedules them five minutes from now. "Stop" ends and removes the ringing alarms.

Are alarms saved or repeated daily?

No. Each alarm rings once. If the time you choose has already passed today, the alarm is set for tomorrow. Reloading or closing the page clears all alarms.

Which time zone does it use?

It uses your device's clock and time zone. The current time and alarm times follow your browser's regional time format.
