About

Handy Everyday Tools is the English version of tools.vege.club. We make free online tools for everyday calculations and small tasks that are a hassle to do by hand.

Tools for everyday tasks

Count words; calculate sales tax, percentages, dates, age, and BMI; generate passwords, QR codes, and barcodes; or scan a QR code. You can also use the timer, stopwatch, alarm clock, dice roller, and Spin the Wheel.

No sign-up or installation needed. Use the tools on your phone or computer. We add new tools as the need comes up. Browse All tools to find one.

Processing your input

The English tools do their calculations and image processing in your browser. They do not send your input or images to our servers for processing. Our Privacy Policy explains analytics, advertising, and other data handling.

We also provide Traditional Chinese and Japanese tools. Two Chinese file converters (PPT to PDF and Excel to PDF) upload files to our conversion service. See the Chinese privacy policy for those details.

Sources and updates

• Where a tool uses official figures, such as rates or thresholds, we base them on laws and official announcements from the relevant authorities. We do not rely on second-hand summaries whose sources are unclear.
• For figures that change by year, we identify the applicable year and source. We try to update them when new official figures are published.

For source details specific to Chinese tools, see About the Chinese site.

Before you use a result

Results are for general information only, based on your input and the formulas used. They are not the amount you will actually pay or receive. They are not legal, tax, financial, or medical advice. For important decisions, rely on official announcements or a qualified professional's advice. Read our Terms of Use for details.
